Joni Jackson, Director
Joni has been the director of Messiah Dance Theatre Fro the past 20 years. As a native of Fargo, she began her training in the Fargo/Moorhead area. She furthered her education in dance, training with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Colorado Ballet, Ballet Magnificant! of Jackson, MS, and the Mendocino Ballet of CA. She returned to the local community and directed Red River Dance for a year before opening Messiah Dance Theatre in 1999.
Our instructors' goal is to evaluate each child as an individual, while maintaining class progression and team spirit. Messiah's instruction is geared toward enriching the individual and developing greater character inasmuch as it trains beautiful, confident dancers.

"I have been dancing with Messiah Dance Theatre for 19 years and assisting/teaching for 7 years. My experience is largely in ballet as well as hip hop and modern dance. I choreograph mostly hip hop dances along with modern and ballet dances. I hope to encourage fellowship through prayer in my classes as well as to help my students discover their own personal relationship with their savior Jesus Christ, to him be the glory forever and ever, amen."
